 Which Bach Flowers Against Fear?

There's a group of flowers that Dr. Bach discovered were very efficient "For Those Who Have Fears" Now their essence is available online or in stores, to be diluted in water and drank on a regular basis to benefit from them. 

Aspen: Aspen can greatly benefit those unable to fall asleep due to their fears of letting go. Sleeping disorders and insomnia due to nightmares of an eerie, haunting kind. 

Foreboding and anxious disquiet mind and body. In panic disorders, when no apparent reason can be given for the attacks. Anxiety attacks marked by the typical, vague fears with shaking and trembling. Anxiety about death. Mental and emotional withdrawal. Dejected or haunted in appearance. 

MIND: In the Alpen state, the mind is overly receptive and too easily impressed. Primordial fears and feelings of doom. Delusions, superstitions, omens, fateful encounters, prophesies and ghost stories.

Nervousness, lowered stamina and decrease in vitality. Dread with internal agony or a slumping of vitality. Hypochondriacal. Obsessive anxieties, intensifying minor symptoms. Excessive self-observation. Fear of being rejected. 

Frequent loose bowels and intestinal griping pains during acute states of anxiety. Chronic diarrhea. Heart neurosis, with duodenal ulcers in the passive-dependent patient, emotional diarrhea, urticaria and atopic dermatitis. 

Useful during physical rehabilitation after accidents or surgery, or during sickness or old-age infirmities, when every move frightens and small pains intimidate. 

MIND: constant fear. Dreaded things, persons or events are seen as a hurdle, or as a dangerous deterrence. Shyness and nervousness. Desire to hide shyness. Anticipatory fears. Chronic phobias. Fixations or obsessions. Fear of death, accidents, poverty, loneliness, misfortunes. 

Cherry Plum: Nervous twitches, grimaces and gestures are common in severe cases. The body expresses the mental struggle taking place within. 

Mounting tension can release suddenly in unpredictable outbursts of violence. Phobias of all kind. Fear of sudden physical or mental failure, as in stammering or in diseases such as epilepsy or repeated fainting. Fear of losing control over one's faculty. 

Physical pain when one feels almost unable to bear the strain and torture, when the mind is at a verge of breaking down. During drug rehabilitation, physical and emotional cravings can be reduced. 

MIND: The mind is over-strained and out of balance, after prolonged mental effort leading to failing nerve power and exhaustion. Delusions and psychotic states when the boundaries of consciousness are disintegrating and the mind becomes subjected to unconscious and primordial forces. 

Nervousness, shyness and stage fright. Great anguish and distress, with intense fear of losing control. Fear that all balance will be lost and the impulsive, unwanted thoughts will win. Thrill or excitement from doing forbidden things. 

Problems in regards to impulses. Obsessive-compulsive, perfectionist or ritualistic behavior, with the intention to avoid succumbing to the dreaded impulses.


Red Chestnut: Fear for the welfare of others. Extreme physical nervousness and anxious weakness, with tightening in the stomach and abdominal region from fear .

MIND:  Fearful worries about loved ones' welfare. Grief and worry. Sense of danger. Fears for life and limb. Helplessness, self-blame.
