Parents Homeopathic Profiles

Yes I treat mainly children, but when the mothers hop on the healing train, results are much more impressive!

Thanks to my good "colleague" and teacher, Angelica Lemke, for these portraits of parents' remedies from her book Healing Complex Children With Homeopathy available on Amazon.

Sepia

Hormonally stagnant people (mostly women, sometimes men) who are resentful towards their family to the point of being mean and or wanting to escape. Post partum depression. Emotionally flat, heavy and exhausted. Feels better with movement, being industrius/busy, exercising and checking things off their to-do lists. Helps women come back into an emotionally/hormonally free flowing place where there is joy in connecting with the family.

Pulsatilla

Nice sweet women (and sometimes men) with soft, emotional eyes who weep easily and need approval. They give love to receive love. Lots of hormonal issues - can easily be hormonally stagnant (irregular periods) and do better with exercise and fresh air. Helps people-pleasers not to care as much about what people think, exert their sense of self, and have a better will-power.

Staphysagria

Repressed anger, resentment towards spouse. Indignation. Angry, easily embarassed. Nervous about what others think of them. Urinary tract infections and styes. Worse from any procedure done to them. Helps women stand up for themselves and not be oversensitive to what other people say or do to them.

Nat-mur

Emotionally closed and distant parents, cool and aloof, not easily connecting. They likely didn't have a close relationship with their own parents or experienced a deep sadness at some point in life. They harbor feelings of depression or grief but find it difficult to cry. Helps parents be more emotionally open and connecting and more naturally joyful.

Lycopodium

Critical parents who are in their heads, who read and research a lot, who are sensitive in their careers and always critical of their spouses (sometimes they have issues with commitment), but they are nice to everyone outside the home. Gassy, liver, stagnation, poor digestion, furrowed brow. Helps parents who are overly mental be more in the present moment.

Silica

Mild-mannered people who are averse to conflict and want everyone in the family to be happy. They work hard at keeping the home balanced/harmonious and care a lot about how the family is perceived. Will be kind to everyone but are occasionally stubborn/rigid about their opinions. May be petite with a small appetite and may have unhealthy skin or nails.
